I don't know if anyone noticed the local paper on Thursday night, in the section where they do street interviews. An ex-City keeper cum centre-half was in there, claiming to be 29 years old- must be a misprint surely!!

I have been advised by his agent, Mr Ewbank, that our resident yodeller, Mr Gill will be performing live on the bus on the way home tomorrow. Olly - Lupton says he's going to make you yodel as well, but then he did laugh in a quite scary way.

Would you believe it there is a rumour that a Donkey was talking on live Televison at Cheltenham. Mike Algeo was believed to be seen talking after Imperial Commander won at 6 -1. Mike Algeo was seen hanging from the roof after the favourite Kasbah Bliss failed in the next race.

The new pitch-side barriers had their first outing today. From what I saw, they very nearly finished up in the Eden with a brisk south-westerly blowing. They appear to have been made from a cheap plastic, and I cannot see them lasting long.

I was watching Sky Sports the other night, and one of the studio guests was Larry Lloyd. I couldn;t believe his appearance for an ex-professional footballer. He looked to be all of 20 stone plus- a walking advert for Burger King. So easy to let yourself go I suppose.
