Doesnt the future look bright for the club. We have 4 teams in the new U7 league out of twelve. Just shows the popularity of the club.4 years of junior junior football, with 30 - 40 players should allow us, as managers to form a great U12 unit of 2/3 sides of 15 to sail them towards the first team in 10 years. Seemingly, he is about to join the gravy train at Man City. I hope he shows a bit more interest than what he appeared to do at Arsenal last season. To me, he's almost the opposite of Tevez in terms of attitude.

It's being reported that Rangers and Celtic have met, to discuss bidding for the Scottish TV rights. This seems a strange one. It's OK clubs having their own TV channels, but I'm not sure they should own the rights for the entire league.

The season kicks off at Cleator Moor Celtic on 8th August, followed by a home game to Hearts on the following Wednesday. The Wearside League season also starts on 8th August, and Cleator Moor's first team are also at home that day.

I have just graduated to Facebook- several years behind the times I know. I've noticed already at least four players who have a profile photo taken during a City match or training- I'm impressed!

I played a friendly last Monday against Edenvale and they tried to start the game with 6 players and I had 7 on the pitch. They informed me that next season was 6 aside. I know nothing of this. Can someone please confirm the correct answer. Some sides have 12 signed on, which would have made sense to start 2...

There could be an interesting game for Penrith in the 1st round of the Vase. If they beat Squires Gate in the prelim. round, they could face AFC Liverpool, the team formed by Liverpool supporters.

The rumour is going around that Carlisle United are to train on the top part of the Sheepmount. This is a horrible surface and not likely to improve without a lot of money being spent. You would have to hope that they keep off the senior City pitch or the season could be a very long one indeed.
