Doesnt the future look bright for the club. We have 4 teams in the new U7 league out of twelve. Just shows the popularity of the club.
4 years of junior junior football, with 30 - 40 players should allow us, as managers to form a great U12 unit of 2/3 sides of 15 to sail them towards the first team in 10 years. Looks like there is a good set of coaches who will develop these youngsters and hopefully attract more along the way. The future is bright...the future is skyblue...in the Longhorne League anyway.
Warren, thats very true. The youngest age-group in a club must be the most important in so many ways, as the players gain their first experience of "organised" football. It could set them up for a very postive experience of gaining enjoyment from football.
