City U11's
(Preview)
Both City U11s won today. Mike Keyes U11 won 10-0 against Warwick Blue, playing well and keeping their shape for 50 minutes. All the team should be praised, by accounts from our own Mr Keyes. U11A, managed by Mark Chambers, didn'tplay to their best, but still won an entertaining encounter 3-1....

Man City
(Preview)
Watched the game this afternoon and decided what a good side they are. They have a tight budget but have spent wisely...A good manager who gets 110% out of his players and deserve Premiership status on those facts alone...well done City, you prove you can beat the odds. Whats that???? City were in Blue...

Steven Gerrard
(Preview)
Does anyone else think that Stevie G's form is not what it should be in World Cup Year? I think he needs a move away from those lot, hes badly in need of a challenge and needs better players around him...... If England are to do well, they need him in the zone, as I feel his other England midfielders are. Lamp...

Milan's team selection
(Preview)
They said during tonight's commentary that Silvio Berlusconi has a regular input into Milan's team selection. I think Gordon Brown should ring Alex Ferguson every so often- a few words on tactics!

worst ref decision ive seen in youth football. city u16s
(Preview)
Having watched city u16s play Warwick today in semi final of cup, i can only say the ref made the worst decision ive seen in youth football the game was in extra time sitting at 1-1 and the ref penalised my son ( city u16 keeper) for taking 10 seconds to kick from hand, he let him kick then whistled and told hi...

City veterans in action
(Preview)
There'll be some aching limbs tomorrow after several ex-City players turned out in the fund-raiser at Gretna FC today. Representing Gretna were the three Armstrong brothers plus Gary Milne (who missed a couple of sitters). In the Carlisle colours was Mark Eagling, who scored a couple of goals, in t...

Top four in Premiership
(Preview)
The 4th spot seems to be getting ever more interesting. There seemed to be hundreds of irate Scousers on the airwaves last night following their Wigan defeat. Looking at the table now, Aston Villa have a very good chance with their games in hand, but you wonder if they have too many commitments.

Bad tempered coach good or bad?
(Preview)
I'd like comments please on whether or not you think it's good or bad that your coach has a short fuse or not. I believe 1 CCFC coach who has a very short fuse (several other small things as well) lost his temper last night in the local and was barred. I for one think we as a club need to root out such bad tempere...

History test
(Preview)
See our news page today on the main site. City's record in the 1987/8 season appears to have been wiped from the history books. Who can remember? Senior members of the committee tell me that City spent only one season in Div 1- Andy Walker tells me it was four seasons? Does the memory fade so quickly?

Carlisle City U6
(Preview)
Good news, the club now has a new team for next season. We just keep going from strength to strength. 11 players turned up today with the chance of more next week. The first session went really well and got some real positives from it. The club is thriving at junior level. FACT

I cannot understand what this is supposed to achieve. Do people decide before going to watch England who's going to be the boo-boy. Lampard's had his share and Crouch as well.

Well done to under 14s Whites
(Preview)
They gained their first point of the season yesterday, after drawing with Harraby Athletic. It sounds as if they've earned the result after recent performances. It's also ironic that they get their point against the side who gained national publicity for going so long without winning.
