I would just like to say thank you to Martin for his effort in putting on this workshop along with the Cumberland fa . As I'm sure you all know it is something that has had to be done by our club to move on in the future . I think for all his time and effort Our coaches would have the decency to turn up wheater we like it or not. I myself was very disappointed with the turn out tonight so I don't know what Martin was thinking , it was pritty embarrassing form a club point of view, I just hope tomorrow nights has a better turn out and the no shows from tonight turn up.
As for the workshop itself it was pritty good and informative and quite enjoyable definetly worth turning up for , it gets you thinking on different things.
Come on people support the club .
Thanks again Martin it is appreciated raino .
Pleased to say the turnout was great tonight. Thanks to everyone for completing the workshop.
I have to say the Workshop itself was very good, Ben and Keith from the CFA did a great job, the session was informative and does open your eyes to some of the behaviors you see most weekends which ought not to be part of our beautiful game.
I would suggest that this workshop is something which should form part of coach education going forward, either as a specific part of the Level 1 certificate or an add-in in the same way the Emergency Aid and Safeguarding Children certificates are with a review/renewal every few years just to re-focus people.
I would like to add to Rainos post and say I too was embarrassed by the turn out. Luckily the majority turned up last night and its a shame we all dont bat for the same team. Cheers Doylo. Ps well done Martin on what was a good event and got us out of a spot of bother
Just like to add my thoughts, Keith's presentation was very informative and raised a lack of knowledge of the laws of the game for everyone, the whole evening was well worth doing from a personal and club point a view & just hope everyone expected to attend made the effort to do so!
