Messi- was he really?? In my book, he wasn't even Argentina's best player. Surely Mascherano was more effective in more of the games. I don't know who makes these decisions but they wouldn't appear to have given too much thought to it.
Hearing on the radio this morning that Blatter has commented he was surprised Messi won it- all part of the game maybe!
