Hi , just read an email off mike obrian with the heading 'Finished' it says he's not taking any phone calls or emails after today. Not sure if this means he's packed in but it certainly sounds like it , can anyone shed any more light on this matter . If he has jacked the league fixtures could be in a right old mess. Let's just hope he hasn't.
Mike has effectively resigned, but has agreed to help the league by arranging the fixtures on a week to week basis. He will not however be taking phone calls , emails (especially emails) or letters.
The League committee is in contact with Mike to try and resolve certain issues and hopefully reverse his decision, because as you have said, it is a thankless task but also major role within the league, (bigger than some managers realise).
Thanks for clearing that up for us all Jim , hopefully the matter can get resolved , we all have to appreciate the hard work and. Time mike puts in trying to sort all these games a thankless task in sure. thanks again . Raino.
