Congratulations to Carlisle City Blues U10 on winning the Upperby Tournament on Monday on what I am led to believe is there final game as City. Good luck to all the boys on there new venture
I watched a couple of there games on Monday at the Upperby tournament and the football they displayed was of a very high standard well done city blues and good look in your new venture!!
i have to agree with the comments below i also watched a few of the games and the i thought boys played good football deserving to win the tournament, i know they have have made some great signings and look as if they will be fighting for the top place next season. Its just a shame they have decieded to leave our club as i think they we be a great team for years to come. Good luck for the future.
How come Carisle City chairman has not even acknowledged there win!!!! It's no surprise the have decided to leave there are some great people in our club but some really rotten eggs
I've always known Ccfc as a good club, all nice people, but looking at the comments on here, maybe they have got "bad eggs" as you say, so they will be delighted the "bad eggs" are moving away!
Junior footie is about the kids, not the parents, best you remember that!
The current chaiman does an awful lot for Carlisle City FC and if he is advised of any team successes he will acknowledge it via this website or through twitter.
There are some who want to knock the club and chairman for the sake of knocking but you need to look at the bigger picture.
Its good to hear that the City Blues U10s did well and yes it is a shame they feel they need to move to another club but the manager of that team hasnt exactly been visible when meetings and functions have been arranged recently. Being part of any club means you have to contribute to more than running your own team, but there are plenty that forget that or just don't realise it!
I must say i am shocked at some of the criticism above about the Chairman Brian Hall , i personally think we owe Brian an awful lot of praise for the amount he does for this club , at both kids and adult level. He attends meetings no one wants to go to, he does all the paper work , he sorts out finances and he promotes the club on social media !! what more could he actually do !!! Every body has a right to voice there thoughts on here , but id say look at the whole picture and not just from one teams point of view , which i found myself doing many years ago until i began to appreciate how much work goes on behind the scenes to run an Organisation as successful as Carlisle City Fc.
I totally agree doylo , without people like Brian we would not have a club and our kids could not enjoy playing football with there pals. We should be thanking these people for the time and effort they put in and not dissing them.
