I saw my first live Futsal game yesterday at Trinity Arena- City girls under 14s v Abbeytown, with City winning 7-4. My first impressions were how small the "pitch" seems to be, even for a 5 a side game. All the girls were clearly enjoying it and its fast and furious to watch. There were occasions when I felt a little sorry for the ball as it was smacked around the arena!
The under 14s have won three in a row at Futsal and it will be building confidence and skills in a side who are playing against mostly older girls.
