Another Frustratin Weekend.

Just astonishing that we lose another game to the weather at the Sheepmount.

I have attended 2 school matches this week , admittedly boith played in wet , muddy conditions but nevertheless , played.

In my mind , weather has been mild and dry over last 4 days for time of year , I played golf in short sleeves on Monday in Scotland !

So, imagine how gobsmacked I was to find game cancelled again.

I refer to my post last week , a promising season fizzling out.

Something has to be done about condition of pitches - are they playable or being saved for ' other ' games ??

Anyway, roll on , next school match and boys get to play the ' winter sport ' they love.disbelief

The frustration will be shared by everyone I'm sure.

I would have to say that many of the pitches were in a very poor condition after last Sunday's games so ,even though this last week has not been too bad, I'm not too surprised that the pitches are not fit today.

It's hard to believe that hundreds of thousands of pounds was pumped into those pitches just a few short years ago
