Hi Everyone, just to let you all know that the Quiz is deffinetly on!!
It Takes place at Pirelli Club on Sunday 20th May, the time will be approx 12-30 until 6pm, obviously the quiz wont take that long,I dont have that many questions done!! we will be having breaks so the kids dont get bored. Teams will consit of 3 kids and 1 adult,So the kids can help you thick adults!!!
cost will be £2 per team, a trophy and cash prize for winners.
could we possibly have an idea of how many teams will be going and numbers as well? it seems Brunton Park finals are on same day,do we have any u6 - u11 represented?
IS IT WORTH GOING AHEAD WITH THE QUIZ ON THIS DATE? AS WITH EVERYTHING ELSE THE CLUB TRYS TO ORGANISE,APATHY SETS IN, EVEN THOUGH THE JUNIOR MANAGERS ASKED FOR THIS TYPE OF EVENT. I KNOW THE DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED ONCE OR TWICE, AND THE LONGHORN LEAGUE CAN'T GIVE US A DEFINITIVE DATE FOR FINALS DAYS, BUT AFTER SPENDING ALL BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND LAST WEEK COMPILING QUESTIONS, I FEEL MIFFED TO SAY THE LEAST AND AM SERIOUSLY THINKING OF PASSING IT ON TO SOMEONE ELSE TO DO. RANT OVER,
The Junior managers did ask for an event such as this and the date was set before the League picked the same date for the finals, as we know, however it is my understanding that participation in the finals is compulsory and with the best will in the world we cant be in two places at the same time!
i think its time to cancel the quiz, this time its not in our hands we cant hold a event the same time as brunton park finals. best thing i think is cancel, and with your help john i will take over and reorganise for the summer months as a lot of touraments going on at minute. and to be honest alot of people still dont know about quiz. lets reorganise i think. nicolax

Its unfortunate especially with the hard work John has put into it so far. The Northbank tournament is over the 16 & 17 June so what about the weekend after that?
good luck with booking the club again as iv changed the date twice so cant see cath beening very willing to let you have it again so freely, plus i payed the deposit out of my own pocket so your not the only one that feels that way john mate
