Just like to thank everybody who made the effort to turn up and help with the festival over the 2 days. The atmosphere with everybody was spot on and no one complained about anything or any jobs we were all given to do.Having said that I would really like to say a massive thank you to Brian Hall who at this present time must wear more different hats for Carlisle City than anyone I know.

Cameraman,1st team Secretary,Festival organiser/co-ordinator,Web site co-ordinator, oh and acting Chairman to name but a few.

The guy never backs away from any role, is always first to put his name foward, and has had so many ups and downs with setting up this festival.

From us all Brian very well done.

I'll second all that and add that the organisation was superb and made the event all the more enjoyable.

Second time for me reffing at Carlisle City and first time for my boy-both of us had a great time as did the kids.

Shame the sun didn't bother until Sunday late morning but no matterwink

Well done, Carlisle City, this tournament was a credit to you!

Regards,

Scott

Thanks Scott- I want to use this page to thank all the referees over the two days. I know it was hard work, especially in the wet weather.

I think we were a few refs short and it is something we will work on next year- we want it to be enjoyable for the refs as well.

For those who organised the festival a very well done. As usual a few hiccups with registrations but well done to Brian and Paul for sorting out the problems.

We never have enough people down to assist in all the events. The Club is there to make some finance to help so the players don't have to pay for everything, so it would have been nice to see some senior players both men and ladies. I did see Titch. I know our end of season do did coincide with the festival but if a 58 year old OAP can make the two days and dance the night away then maybe take a good hard look at yourselves and volunteer for next years tournament, you might save the club some money by offering your services.

Well done the organisers.

in reply to senior players not helping out during the tourament, i agree some more could have came down but lets not put the seniors in that bad alight with members of the club as they have turned up to support club events(race, speakers, quiz nights) in large numbers to help the club make funds.
