I know there is a news item on this topic today but I couldn't let it pass without making comment on this team.
To complete any season unbeaten is an amazing achievement and these boys have done it in style, by winning every game except 1 draw (well done by the way to that team it was another CCFC team ran by raymond swailes).
Some of their games follow our U12 CCFC reds games as Warren Steele who runs that team helps Jamie out with the U8's, so I get to watch them quite a bit. they have some real characters in the team like "ronnie and reggie kray - you know who you are" and play some very good football for their age. I have had at least 1 of the senior teams management watch a game with me and he was amazed at what they were doing for their age.
Well done Waza and Jamie, keep up the good work.
ps I'm sending my mate who scouts for Man City to have a look at the kid who they call the "tank"!!!!!
Thanks for the kind words, although that it isnt our main aim, as the most important thing Jamie and I want is to see the kids( who are only seven or 8) enjoy themselves and progress in a sport they enjoy and Im sure quite a few of them dont know what the final score is when its finished. But saying that a little credit can be shown to them.
