There has been a suggestion to set-up an under 19s league in the area, and an under 21s County cup.

We have discussed this at club level and it has not met with great support it must be said.

Anyone have any views?

In the league at present there is a shortage in the older u16 teams and from next season when players step up to u18 they could also be playing senior football on Sat afternoons and Sun mornings so i feel we would struggle to field teams ,

I could see there being more success with the under 21 cup, although fitting it into the calendar will be a problem
