Firstly he thought Rooney had signed a 5 year deal with City and so got a tshirt made with "Welcome to Manchester" on and Roonys picture, then the mighty City get a lesson on Sunday afternoon, in how to play the game.... A hard lesson for Wilbo. Having said that, 86 mins is a long time to play with ten men against a team like Arsenal.....
Chins up Wilby, wont be long before yer leage champions again!
Thanks for your concern boys, it was a mixed weekend, have to say saturday was much better than sunday with our U12's playing great and beating a good Gillford team 5-1, the Alliance team winning at Ponteland and the County league team winning at St Bees. Sunday wasn't though with City and Celtic both losing and the dark side winning.
You dont win anything in October chaps, lets see where we are all at come May shall we, but enjoy your win Mamma Kerr, they (Arsenal) are a very good football team and a pleasure to watch, shame the sending off (correct IMO) was so early on as it undoubtedly affected the game, but hey ho.
Big Sploits - I still think my new t shirt might get an airing next summer.
Has Anyone Seen Wilbo? - Kerro, how have ya missed him....there has been reruns of Rainbow on the telly all week......How did ya miss Zippy???? Massive head on lile shoulders and a mooth that runs away with its self........"dont win anything in October."....thats never been said by a City fan before...... hopefully they will still be about to watch the trophies being handed out to others as normal!!!
