The boys won comfortably yesterday with some good performances all through the team, Conor Keyes did very well playing out of position at centre back, but MOM went to Vincent Wong who scored a hat trick and was excellent in central midfield.
yes, I can agree City U12 came through the game with high accolades. After a shaky 30 mins they found their game and produced some fantastic football. with great end produce after working the ball to the wide men. Vincent was given MOM after a great display but it was agreed that 2 or 3 other individuals had produced on the day and we will use this as a stepping stone for future performances.....Thursday at Abbeytown will be just fine!
well done boys,just been checking all the scores in tonights paper,seems all city sides have started season off very well. special good wishes to Angela and her U10s, who had struggled for players for a while but had a cracking result, well done to all keep it up.
