Carlisle City U12 reds 2 friendly games
Permalink

The first friendly is this coming Saturday 28th August against Carlisle Utd U12 and the second is the following Saturday against Gillford Park U13, both games are at the sheepmount and both kick off at 10.30am.

Come down and have a look, we have some cracking players at U12 level.

I echo that Mark, City u12s have some great players and hopefully the new look reds and blues will both do well this season.

Cant make Saturday as the blues have their 2nd pre season friendly against Harraby at 11ko, but all the best.

Forgot to report on the game, we lost 8-1. CUFC were very well organised and played some very neat and tidy football and were pretty clinical to boot. We started off slowly but got better as the game progressed then tired a bit towards the end.

Excellent feedback from the boys after the game on the good things they did and the areas they feel they need to work on, some of which we did on tuesday at training.

Next game on Saturday v GP U13's and a tough one at that as they drew with CUFC U12 the other week.

Waza back on Sunday and he is likely to arrange another friendly, probably v CCFC Alliance team.smile

City Reds U12 v GP U13.

Played 3 sets of 20 minutes, lost the first 1-0, the second 2-1 and the third 3-0.

Some very encouraging performances from our boys against a much bigger team than us and a great goal from Seth.

The boys worked very hard for each other and tried to get the ball down and play when they could.

Sorry I was wrong about the next game, it's not the Alliance team, it's Galatasaray on wednesday.
