Goalkeeping standards

Maybe the standard of goalkeeping is dropping worldwide. We've had examples already from England, Algeria & Paraguay.

It can't all be the ball to blame!

its just the usual blame the keeper rubbish... keeper makes a mistake its a goal.
nowts said when fullback slips, striker races in keeper makes class save, end of story
nobody gives fullback a hardtime for slipping !!
nobody moaning that Rooney done absolute nowt in game against usa, all about the keeper making a mistake, majority of keepers will make far far less mistakes in a season than an outfield player, but that goes for nowt all you remember is the keepers mistake, doesnt matter your teams star striker missed 20-30 sitters during season.

MON THE KEEPERS

I accept your points Brucky, and I'm not out to knock keepers. However, for three "howlers" already, before all the teams have even played one game, must be unusual at the highest level of football.
