I think it's been mentioned on here before that Alex once broke his jaw by shouting at his defence. He said on Friday that the injury was actually caused by Bob Hatton, once of Carlisle United. He "clattered" Alex in the first minute of the game.
His jaw started to swell up and when he shouted at Martin Buchan shortly after half-time, pop went his jaw!
