Dear Mr Wilson,

You must be delighted with the score today at Old Trafford. You scored 3 goals well done. I know Utd gave you 2, but still...well done pal. You are definitely in for a great season.
I even noticed you ventured out of your own half 4 times in the second half, as such Rio gave you a big present and to top it all off a Scouse legend scored the winner in a Manchester derby.... couldnt of written it better myself...sweet dreams loser.....two tenners instead of a twenty pound note PLEASE.....Laters loser

It wasn't a great weekend for the Ferdinands, with Anton giving away a soft penalty at Burnley.

Sadly I wasn't able to see the game as was watching us beat the aussies at Durham in the final one dayer.

Just want to reply to Mr S, after watching the highlights on MOTD2, you are, as usual, correct about some things but way off on others, the Barry goal was a mistake by Foster (IMO), the second was a class strike and the third, well, whilst Rio gave it away Bellamy still had plenty to do.

I suppose you think the dark side scored 4 wonderful goals, but if you take out your red devil contact lenses and look at the defending by City you might see that for all 4 goals the finger could be pointed at bad or very bad defending - FACT.

As for Mr Owen, I doubt his fellow scouser's will be over enamoured by his celebrations, but that's another thread and don't forget that City had Adebayor, Robinho and Santa Cruz all missing.

I was hopeful at the start of the season that City would sneak the last Champions league spot, it was more hope than anything to be honest, but after seeing how they have started I am a little more confident we can achieve this.

If you look at the league table as it stands, Chelsea, Dark Side, Liverpool and City, I have a gut feeling that's the way it may finish.

As for our bet, my slim friend, you gave me 12 points, at the moment, you are 3 ahead and we have a game in hand, is Wilbo concerned, I don't think so, sleeping like a baby, a bit like yourself on Saturday night, when Mrs S had to put you to bo bo's - FACT

See ya later chief.

I thought Foster was also at fault for the third goal. I know Ferdinand gave the ball away, but I don't know how Bellamy scored from that angle.
