I see it's reported that ex-City skipper Ian Cumersky has signed for Gretna.

It also looks as if a number of Harraby players are on the move to Gillford Park.

3 Players for HCC have signed for Gillford, James Parker, Matthew Bell & David Wallace, not a bad back 3 to start with, along with ex Carlisle pro Michael Dickinson, apart from that the squad remains pretty much the same as last season for now.
as for any other players, all are welcome to come and train any Tuesday or Thursday from 6-30pm at Gillford Park.

Good luck to you all at City for the coming saeson .

As usual when someone has something derogatory to say about he/she hides behind the anonymous log in.

Ian played for me whan I was first team manager and what some people forget is that he never missed training or games (unless suspended) and was someone who you could always depend upon. Yes he had a short fuse and picked up some silly yellow and reds, but at the end of the day he is a good footballer, good luck to him, wherever he plays.

On HCC, they have lost a few good players, but knowing Andrew he will be bringing in some more good ones.

On GP, Mike is right about the 3 lads signed from HCC, all accomplished defenders and excellent additions to an already good squad. I don't know Dickinson, so can't comment on him. What has been achieved at GP is nothing short of remarkable.

For me all the best to all the Carlisle teams and any others where we have friends, ex-players, etc Gretna, Annan, Penrith and Reds.

Looking forward to the new season commencing.

I can vaguely remember Dickinson at Carlisle Utd, when I think he made a couple of starts for the first team.
