A friend of mine who lives on Blackwell Road rang me last night to say there had been an accident on Blackwell Road. Apparently two cars crashed into each other, with both drivers saying they could have sworn the traffic light was on RED.
Police say that they have interviewed a local man who was crossing the road at the time and was looking left then right before doing so. The man in question had a very red face and it was this reason the cars crashed into each other.
A police spokesman said the man has been cautioned, he must wear a factor 50 cream at the next CCFC festival (if it's sunny of course).
