It would have been interesting if our under 18's had made the Brunton Park final on May 4th with City already losing James Gibson playing for Warwick Wanderers. I will be playing the youngsters who got us to the final and it wouldn't have been the same if i had to draft people in because they were unavailable. The youngsters have got us back to third in the league and answered the thoughts of posters Howard Arms and Carlisle Coach by reaching a final and finishing higher in the league. A great response from our youngsters and whatever the outcome against Netherhall it has been a great final season for me as Reserve team manager.
Well done Dougie- no doubt Netherhall will be a tough match and it should be a good final.
I see that Wigton got a 3-3 draw at Aspatria last night, and that could hand the league to Netherhall. Aspatria don't play Netherhall until 20th May which seems to be the last game of the season.
