The relegation battle at the foot of the Alliance premier division is going to be a close-run affair. Currently, there's just one point between the bottom club (Ashington) and Heddon, who are in 11th place. Above Heddon, there are two sides who are only three points better off.
City have five of the bottom seven to play, so there could be some interesting games coming up.
