The game is due to be played tomorrow at Southend Road KO 7.30, one or two ex Carlisle City players in the Penrith squad ("Wilbo", "Matty" and "Joseph David"), good luck to them I hope they all play a part and get a result. Whitley Bay got to the semi final last year and from what I have been told have more or less the same squad. Saying that Penrith have been good at home this year so it should be a good one.
And the next round draw, away at Bootle, is not too bad. They are 1st division of NW counties league, and Penrith have already beaten Squires Gate, who are in the premier division of that league.
James Tose & Richard Prokas are taking some stick on the Northern League messageboard- it sounds as if the game might have been a bit "tasty", with a number of cards shown.
