Is it true that Gordon "he`s a goalkeeper" once said in the Howard that Mark Wilson was his cousin ??? I know they look like each other, but is this rumour true ????
You know only too well that Gordon said that and he mentioned something about me having "cloth ears" which you have forgotten to mention. It's not very often I am stumped for a reply but that day I most certainly was. Probably because most of the lads were rolling about on the floor wetting themselves with laughter.
I don't recall Gordon ever being invited to any family events so can't comment on the cousin thing, but I can say that Gordon was born in Walker, where he had 1 brother and 2 sisters. Apparently he was the brighest and best looking of the 4.
Anyway what train we getting Friday, 12.30 or 1.30, I will ring Luppy today to see what time he is finishing. You wearing your smoking jacket, Emma told me she had tried to give it to one of the local vagrants when you were out but even he wouldn't wear it!!!!
The staff, shareholders and cleaners of Northern Rail plc receive a wholehearted apology for any misdemeanours on their services during Friday 14th November 2008.
Normal services should now resume, subject to wet leaves on the line!!
The two young boys shouldn't drink Stella with the big lads Brian, me and Corky were fine, Eegs fell asleep on the way home and Luppy (aka Mr Robinson) as Carl Carswell used to say "he's not mad, he's raving mad", good day/night was had by all.
I'm going to have to watch what I say to you Mr H!!
