This league looks very competitive this year, with possibly five sides having a realistic chance of winning it. Northbank are setting a strong pace and are still unbeaten, but City's two teams will both be hard to beat.
In addition, Workington look strong and Penrith are something of an unknown quantity. It should make for some good games as the season goes on.
It is a very strong league Brian. There are a lot of good players who are playing Sunday afternoon football for an under 18 team that are ready to play some senior football.
Both Carlisle City teams are very strong this year, as mentioned Reds are high scoring side, while Northbank are enjoying a really good start to their campaign.
I think it is the type of league where 6 or 7 teams can take points off each other, which will make for a good conclusion to the league at some point in the dim and distant future (probably 2 years with the amount of games being cancelled)!!
Some excellent games are taking place at the Sheepmount most Sundays, any spectators would be welcome at the City games
