Great game of football this morning at The Sheepmount between Carlisle City Blue and Carlisle City at U12 boys level.
Both sides provided some great entertainment in very difficult, bitterly cold and windy conditions.
Carlisle City took the lead midway through the first half and added to their lead with only seconds remaining before the whislte went for the break.
Playing with the wind in the second half Carlisle City Blue created a number of opportunities with a headed goal from a corner narrowing the lead. As City Blue pushed on in a bid to find an equaliser Carlisle City proved very dangerous on the break and in the last few minutes finished the game off with a third goal.
A really entertaining game with both sets of lads proving to be a credit to the club.
