Have just heard of the CFAs plan to introduce this to cumbria, would this not affect city, harraby united and northbank as the alliance is already step 7 in the pyramid, surely a cumbrian only league at step 7 would be an easier way in the northern league??
Jay thats true in terms of promotion. It has possible negative effects too for us in that it potentially weakens the league in which City's reserves can play- a club can only have one side at step 7.
is ther any point having a step 7 league in cumbria seeing as u need your own ground if promoted to northern league level,also apart from city, harraby and northbank would it be worth any other team trying for promotion as the standard in the northern league would be streets ahead of any team around here? they would be relegated after one season.
