It seems that the vote went for 7 v 7 last night for under 7s.
This could be the last season before 5 v 5 comes in
would imagine 5 a side at that age group would cause a major problem for managers eg.getting all the players 50% playing time etc.
Thats the big problem with this new concept. The principle is fine- less players on the field, more of the ball etc.
BUT less players are going to get a game of football I fear, and something is wrong there
But where are all the coaches going to come from for these new teams??
exactly brian, and what will happen to all these 5-a-side teams when it they go up to 7,9 and 11-a-side?
It's a great principle and I do agree with the methods proposed.
This should work fine in the professional academies and be great for those players likely to be full-time footballers.
I have my doubts it's necessary at all levels of football
