You may have seen in the papers that the Cumberland County League, this is the one our mens reserve team currently play in, is being proposed by the CFA as a potential step 7 league. Currently the mens 1st team play in the northern alliance which is a step 7 league.
A number of meetings have taken place already to discuss how the new league would be formed etc and the next meeting will be on 03rd May.
Just for clarity we do not intend resigning from the Northern alliance, our reserve team would enter the step 7 league in Cumbria.
I have posted this message as at the next meeting on 03rd May the "volunteers" (and I use that word tongue in cheek Mr Conway) who will attend it have been charged with having a "brainstorming" session to think about the issues that Clubs, managers, coaches and players might have about joining the league.
I will represent our club at this meeting and I wondered if anyone had any issues they might want me to raise. To be fair if you look at this and are not a member of CCFC post your concerns and I will take them to the meeting.
