Hi everyone, and annonymous, the race night was a great succes £1500 raised, massive thanks to all. The prizes will be available to collect in a day or 2, i am working long hours in the run up to xmas, so it will probably be after 8pm on an evening when you can call.ring me first. no money raised is going on booze ups or committee outings,maybe some spelling lessons for annonymous!!
what information do you need? every manager was issued with 8 sheets to sell to their team,parents etc. they also had instructions to tell whoever they were selling to, that if the horse they picked on the sheet won that race they would recieve a prize, either a bottle of wine, cans of beer,lager or cider, box of chocolates ,sweets biscuits etc. if you have not been informed then that is the fault of the relevant manager,as i have emailed them all at least 3 times and posted a plea on this board,to come to my house and collect their sheets and prizes, as of now it is 3 and a half weeks since race night and there are still about 7 or 8 teams yet to ring me or collect!! then you wonder as a person who loves Carlisle City football club,why do we as committee organise such social events when people can't be bothered to follow up. I for one shall not be organising any more social events, and even feel like jacking it all in!! fact.
