As a club we have been handed fines totalling £120 for failure to hand in team sheets. Whilst I agree in principle with the fines, the decision is made without proper investigation that all sheets are missing are the responsibility of the team and or individual. There is no concideration that it may have been misplaced by the league? To counter this system and to make sure I dont get a fine, I will request that all my paperwork be signed for, this will eliminate any misuderstandings, please can someone at the club say if this is justifiable?
Post mine each week yet they not recieved 2 sheets costing my team 20 quid ! Will we get any of this money back when the league refund the money to Carlisle city?
Can each team email me with specific details of fines. Please send me details as follows:-
1) Which specific matches were the fines applied to 2) Was the match sheet completed for that day 3) If so who exactly did you give/send it to and how. Was it posted ?
Please be honest as I don't want any bogus claims.
I spoke to Doreen regarding my teams fine ( under 14's ) basically Doreen said she never received it, but all I can say is every week I have dropped the team sheet off at her house. The only other place it could be is in my file which it isn't. So I have paid the fine but will now make a note of when I drop it off. The sad thing is that the money comes out of the boys' kitty. But from now on I will be more vigilant about dropping it off
