Children - see what happens when you drink too much Lambrini at the grand opening of Daza's new stable. One photo shows a happy smiling jolly green giant and the other after 4 buckets of vino a slobbering mess of a clampet.
The term defamation of character is often used to describe accusations of slander, libel or both. Slander involves verbal derogatory statements, while libel involves written ones.
So here we are talking about libel, the definition of which is; to publish in print (including pictures), writing or broadcast through radio, television or film, an untruth about another which will do harm to that person or his/her reputation, by tending to bring the target into ridicule, hatred, scorn or contempt of others.
In essence, neither snow shoes, Brian or I have printed anything that is untrue (you do look like a heffalump, it does look like a stable. pink is not your best colour, you were drinking lambrini from a bucket (the kray twins are witnesses) and you were trolleyed), will do harm to your reputation (that went years ago) or bring ridicule, hatred, scorn or contempt upon you (everybody loves the jolly green giant).
