Having read about tom foster, I hav also heard today that Adam bradley has signed for Penrith... In my eyes that is citys to best players.. Although missed alot of the season with a knee injury it is still a big blow...
It's not a blow, it's an oppertunity for another youg keeper to make the step up and hopefuly even further up the levels. Adam done very well for me and we helped get him back to a level he should be playing at if not higher. Carlisle city over the many years I have been involved have seen many players progess to higher league teams Gretna,Penrith,Workington etc that is what a club like Carlisle City has always done and will continue to do, and we hope players then return to the club down the line to pass on there knowledge to the young players we have at that time. With the youth set up we now have this will happen I hope on a regular basis until such time we have our own facilities and income.
