I just want to thank everyone for what appears to have been another very successful festival. A lot of hard work for a lot of people especially the ladies (plus Tom Lu****) working in the burger van. Many put in an awful lot of work but one man stands out and that is Brian Hall who put the whole thing together. Brian puts a huge amount into our club and without him we would be not be able to do half the things we do achieve
Just to second that what Joe has said, an awful lot of work goes on behind the scenes and an awful lot of people also do alot of hard work. From early Friday night to late Sunday afternoon but a very big Thankyou goes to Brian who must have covered every piece of grass and carpark tirelessly for 2 days solid a Massive Thankyou to Brian Hall. Pigeon.
Well done everyone who was there helping out, it's a credit to Carlisle City FC how many people muck in on the weekend of the festival. Good work Brian very well organised
Just got to add to the Brian Hall appreciation society, like Bender before him this fella has put in a massive amount of time in making sure things ran smoothly over the two day, and it is very much appreciated.
Well done everyone for making this tournament a great success, the comments i received from other managers confirm that a good job was done by all.
A huge amount of work goes into the organising of a festival such as ours, especially when it is at a school venue, time scales are an issue and access is the major concern. But the people who made it happen should be very pleased with themselves. Hard work and dedication got this weekend to fulfill its potential. Great atmosphere and some super football by the boys and girls. I for one am proud to have been involved.
I would just like to say that having just woke up today from the weekend!! many thanks to all who turned up on Friday night to put things together,mark out pitches,by the way Si wher's my bloody sweatshirt?, and to Mark,Joe,Josh and Si who stayed until 9pm to put goals away.To everyone else involved over the 2 days,the girls doing the cakes and hairspraying, the boys and girls refereeing, the 2 ladies on the Burger van, Waza and Mark on the Bar,the lads on the penalty shoot out,everyone give yourselves a big slap on the back,it just goes to prove we ARE THE BEST CLUB in the County bar none, FACT. tremendous effort
