we arrived back at 7.00pm this evening.played 4 lost 4.three 1/0 and 1 3/0. knackered and worn out.but had a great day. a great learning curve and a great experience.a well organised event with some good teams and a great social event.bender and i could not have asked the girls for anymore.they gave everything and never stopped or thought they were beaten.thruout the day they kept going.well done girls and also to all the parents who came and supported the girls a really good day now lets look forward to sunday the 2nd may brunton park and lets get the treble.see u allthen cheers pigeon
Can i just add that lossin all 4 games dont tell the whole story as out of the 11 teams there 6 or 7 of them were connected to football leauge clubs such as man city, preston and bradford to name a few, so the standard of play was much higher than what they are used to but they matched them in almost every way apart from the results. As my mate says the girls did the club, leauge, fa, myself but most importantly themselves proud with thier efforts. Cheers
