The words of your spokesman are so far from the truth i am perplexed, just to clarify to the people who must of left Carlisle for the last two years, there was only ONE AND ONLY ONE person responsible for the "up comming " Carlisle Amateurs and that was ME! Whilst i had this idea of forming a Team i did ask Rumney for his help as a Goalkeeper  this Team was unless you have again been hiding was called Margaret Marys, as i (that is me again) didnt want the Team being classed as a PUB team i (thats me) changed the team name at the end of season 08-09 to Quess what Carlisle Amateurs!
Now if you are brave enough to do this you have to have,
1, Sponsorship
2, Finance to run
3, Players (this is where Rumney helped again by getting his mates to play)
4, Transport
5, Equipment (this is how i came in and put MY MONEY in)
6, ME attending ALL meetings as Rumney couldnt make any

Now i didnt leave my position to ALL OF THE ABOVE till December last year,to which i (that is meeee) have to say was unbeaten in 90 minutes so if Rumney, any of the Players are saying what has been stated then they are as thick as any person who believes this Quote "Rumney has worked hard to get Carlisle Amateurs to where they are",

People can assume what ever they want but while Carlisle Amateurs still use the name then my name will always be there!

Anyone can jump on the band wagon and take the credit but i cant be slaughtered for doing what i did for a thankless group of individuals.

Be careful what you say about thankless individuals Carlisle Coach, this might come back to hit you in the face from what i can see the Team are progressing from where you left off,a lot of them worked hard for you, and with some good signings they are becoming a stronger team,with good direction from the Manager,not inane babbling  and swearing from the touchline whilst you were in charge good luck in you next job,Gillford Park?? so the rumours go.

This message was put on to mainly remove the link which was no longer in use and not relavant to the current side. My comments about Ian Rumney was about how well his side are doing and a pleasure to play against and not to demise what Barrie had done. It's funny how people read into things that are not their. I have been around too long and done jobs you all do and i know how difficult it can be. Good luck to everyone.

looking again may be he is but some people dont know the half?

The True FACT is that untill i started the team atleast half the players didnt even play on a Saturday, the others had been fringe players for 1st teams or even struggled to get into a reserve team
As people in the "no" we can do good things for other people and for their benifit but things change very quickly.
