I have just noticed there's an atrocious weather forecast for the North East in the next 24 hours- very wet conditions.

I wonder if this may put the Alliance game in doubt. The Cumbrian forecast is not as bad.

3G and astro pitches are looking a great option like someone has mentioned but to my knowledge(which I know is limited) the alliance league do not allow them to be used.

Following on from message on news noticeboard  this afternoon, can confirm no game against Harraby either. Harraby now playing away at Murton.

Friendly arranged against Gretna at Newton Rigg - leaving turf 11.45 (cars).

Good luck to County Team with their cup tie.

whats the chances of sheepmount being playable on Sunday??  had 3 games lined up this weekend  first 2 off coz of snow now 1 left on Sunday ... whats the chances ??

I think it will depend on the weather during Saturday. We were told that pitches were playable today, but it has been a very wet day in Carlisle.

I think Steve's right that the Alliance league don't allow 3g pitches. This seems strange when far higher leagues do- the Unibond for example.
