Manchester City RIP
Permalink

Well guys, what a game. Just shows what can happen at half time. Which is what it was after the Eastlands game....wasnt it???

Bottles and coins won it......................

Man City have thrown all the coin to make a great side, but Man Utd showed the bottle.
Manchini should have opened the coach doors to let his team out, cos staying on the bus just shows the world, they aint ready, cos they never turned up tonight!

Darren Fletcher, cost eight quid, a flurecent snake belt and 2 conkers to buy and hes Scottish ( no offence Joe) and he looked like Kempes....

Wilbo.........................thanks for taking part.

Fat Jeff.................... Fergie time done ya....dont dis him

But saying all that, its the MM cup.....who cares......but its nice to have an answer!

Laters.....Blue Moonienumber1.gif

The best team won over the 2 games, you will not get me arguing over silly things like "how comes there was only 10 minutes added time, doesn't the ref know we keep playing until we score" you know the kind of thing I mean don't you.

I was impressed with the dark side steward at the coin throwing incident. He was on it like a flash, straight to Mr Glazer for the "save our ground", oh and "training ground" fund. I was also impressed with Craig Bellamy who got up and got on with it.

Maybe City didn't get off the bus, maybe the dark side just played better, sometimes that happens Waza, one team plays better than the other and wins.

Darren Fletcher was excellent in both games, what has his cost got to do with anything. Micah Richards had two very good games and he cost a packet of malteezers and a super mario game, relevance??

I don't believe any of you who say that the MM Cup doesn't matter to the dark side, look at their players, manager, bench, crowd etc when they won. Waza - you were just trying to take the pressure off pal if City beat you, it's the oldest trick in the book.

Whatever, we are out of it, and I look forward to us trying to get in the top 4 this season and who knows another decent run in the FA Cup (I guess the dark side are not bothered about the FA Cup either).

One thing is for sure, City will be challenging for all the top honours in the next few years. The question is with all their money problems (and you cannot deny they have them), Rooney and Vidic maybe leaving, the young players Rafael/Wellbeck/Gibson/Anderson/Nani not being good enough, the Scholes/Giggs/Van de Sar/Neville getting on a bit, will the dark side? Lets see shall we?

HaHa Ha Ha Ha ...Mr Wilson has finally flipped. Stop reading the daily star, you know it will make ya ill.
Richards had to go off as well as the other full back, cos they in technical terms were knackered...chased shadows all game....I felt for them.confuse
As for the money issue....yes seems to be but hey, there is always a detrimental story about Utd, its what sells papers, not winning, cos the press are sick of writing wax lyrical about UTD.no

I actually thought Given could have done better with the winning goal- he seemed rooted to his line, for a cross that was not very far from his goal.

your having a laugh surely.... there could have been 3 keepers in and they wouldnt have got it.... it was a superb cross in  at pace .

Given is THE worlds best keeper... the best signing city have made bar none, bet England wish he was playing for them this summer coz they dont have a keeper near his class.

I agree it was a good cross.

Like many keepers, I think if Given has a weakness, it's on crosses.

Shay Given doesnt have a weakness certainly not on crosses! Now if you had said the Chelsea keeper was poor on crosses i would have agreed with you there.

Shay Given was at Celtic as a lad and they released him !! blinding bit of business !

Its a real pity he wont be at world cup this year coz he's playing out of his skin just now and really would have proved he's the worlds No.1 at present, as he's no there with the Republic i'll need to find a team to support might go for Holland.blankstare

Julio Cesar of Brazil, usually the brazilian keeper is the weakest part of their team but not now he's a class act
