There seems to be a growing feeling that keepers are getting too much of an advantage by moving off their line, to save penalties. Maybe its about time that refs started enforcing the rules- and more pens be re-taken

as a keeper with city u16s, i think keepers should be allowed to move freely at penalties on or off their line, the penalty taker can run up from the half way line if he wants put in a couple of cartwheels here and there then hit the penalty!! we have to stand there and accept it, maybe a penalty taker should be made to take a penalty without a run up, from a standing start...they would soon mump about that !!  long may keepers move as much as they can....

fair point, but keepers have the biggest advantage,ie.they can use their hands yet they seem to be the most protected,a striker cant even challenge a keeper without conceding a freekicksmile

yip your right but plenty strikers dont even make an attempt to play the ball they just rush into the keeper and hope they spill it. Theres lots you can call unfair i.e the striker taking a dive when the keeper comes out to collect ball at feet..
Back to the original topic of keepers moving at penalties.. people only make an issue of it when its the opposing keeper who moves early, when your own keeper moves early its a great save !!!
