Me and the boy wonder Steele have been out every morning this week pounding the streets (literally) and every morning it has chucked it down at some point during the walk.
I notice it's Alnwick for the Alliance team at home and Parton for the County team away. I doubt if the sheepmount will be on, has anyone thought about switching the game to Alnwick as a league game?
More chance of the Parton game being on I would say. If that's the 2nd leg of the cup I think Hendy might give a good run out to one or two of the lads who haven't been playing much recently seeing we are 10-1 up after the first leg. Mike Bell was saying he could do with a start
I spoke with the Sheepmount yesterday and they confirmed that the weekend would be off, unless there was a drastic change in the weather, which so far there hasnt been, however they will announce it on Friday AM
I have asked for the girls u14 and u16s league to be suspended until the new year as most of the pitches we play on ie Rickerby, Frenchfields, Abbeytown and the Sheepmount will not be playable until the new year at the earlyiest. As usual i am still waiting for a reply from the league
