Any ideas who they might tempt to do the job? Souness seems to have ruled himself out. I don't know whether Dalglish might have any interest. Otherwise, I guess they will be looking at younger candidates like John Collins or Craig Levein.
A manage is one thing but some players will also be useful.
I know we have found a 14 year old (born in Somalia) at Celtic who seems to be an exceptional prospect but where are the others. Under new rules this lad has pledged his future to Scotland.
This drop off of talent will hit England in the next 10 - 15 years because of the effects of the way clubs at the top recruit players.
whoever does get the job shouldnt ever think of adding macgregor or ferguson to the squad no matter how poor we are coz they made their feelings well known when they gave their 2 fingered gesture....keeper is a decent goalie but Ferguson is at best very average... John Collins for me he takes no prisoners... he's a fitness fanatic.... and can get players playing for the cause
whoever it is we'll still travel allover to watch a 2nd rate team coz thats what ooo dae !!!
I dont think that any1 is goin for that 1 barneyjack, so is it that city dont want to loose us or is it that no one thinks we are good enough for such a job haha. Can i just say that its good to have Steve back were he belongs as number 1 at city and not behind the barrier on match days, and before the coward who has hidden behind phone calls to the fa states that his ban is still in place till 31st dec, we have got nothing goin on at the club ie games or training, unless you think watching the footie on sky sports is being involved in football. So up yours Mr Anonymous better luck next time (if there ever is a next time) if you had had the gutts to say who you are you might of got somewere but then again you didnt realy have anything on him did you.
It's because you and Steve are too precious to us Duncan, so we wouldn't want to let you go. Anyway you are both under contract so the SFA would have to make it worth our while, I think that's why they have gone for Craig Levein as he was a slightly cheaper option.
I'm pleased Steve's ban is almost up and he can take his rightful place in the dug out, it's a shame he has done his cruciate though, he might stay behind the barrier as at least he will have something to lean on there.
IMO we can all learn from this unsavoury experience, mistakes have been made and I can say that from our Club's perspective we will do our utmost to make things right in the future.
Saying that, it's apparent that there are some bitter and twisted individuals out there who seem to take pleasure in causing problems for others for no reason. No matter we will carry on to run our Club as best we can with the resources we have, but at least now we know who some of these people are and can be cautious in our dealings with them in the future, beware the sheep in wolf's clothing.
I can almost hear the minnions punching in FC's or GT's number as I type this message, man or a mouse? I'll get you the cheese then.
