Anyone going to the over 35s final at Frenchfields this coming Friday night, will be standing in the dark on their own, as I am reliably informed by Geoff Turrell from the Cumberland FA that the venue and the date has not been sorted yet. They are struggling to find an appropriate venue with lights. It appears that this date was fowarded by the League secretary in error!!!. With Grasslot having problems getting a side after Friday and putting the FA under pressure to sort it out, the final may not even happen in September. So watch this space for further news.
