Warren Steele is planning a fund-raising trip between John O'Groats and Carlisle next year. He's unsure whether to walk it or bike it but, either way, he will need lots of support for the trip. Maybe we can see if Ian Botham is available!
Thanks Brian. I am actually intending to walk it over 14 days at 30 miles a day. There is a lot of planning and any assistance would be greatfully recieved. I will however need a couple of drivers for the charity walk, for safety precausions. I will issue details at the next exec meeting and hopefully some advise maybe available. I have set up a couple of meetings with minibus dealers to see what assistance I can get and what money will need to be raised etc. Really looking forward to it.

Once I had made my mind up to do this I sat back and worked out who the suspects would be that would give me drivel....and yes the usual ones have appeared, but I am still waiting for 2 more. Ya cranks.

The gooners have had a good start to season so they are all excitable at the moment. Kerro normally uses the same tea bag all week, but so far he has used 1 each day, extraordinary I say!!!!
If you are stopping at 420 pubs on the way home count me, Simes and John Daly in as well, but better set off on Walk's birthday (01st april) if you want to get back to BP for 01st May. Simes will drive the van he's cushty at that, JD will act as medical man and rub vaseline on your chapped thighs he's cushty at that and I will sort out the directions to each pub, I'm cushty at that.
Alternatively every sunday for the next 4 weeks give the keys to the truck of luck to wolverine and clear the car park in the Gozzy, I bet by week 5 he can drive it (better get 4 cushions for him to sit on or a couple of dead chickens) - FACT
