the boys played well, worked hard and probably should have been more comfortable than the score suggests.

Chris deserved his goals for all the hard work he put in, Sanks took his goal really well. Jordan had a good game in goals, his kicking was particularly good, Chez was excellent at right back and grffy the same in the middle of the park, saying that they all done well.

Roll on Silloth on Tuesday at the Sheepmount KO 6.30pm.

I thought the Ashington game was very close, and it was nice to see a late winner, which I didn't think was going to come.

I think the first day results in the Alliance show how close a league it could be this year.
