Is this KIDS football we are talking about??? Whay are people uneasy? It means absolutely nothing. There will be 3 Carlisle City U7 next season, if we give them colours, how will they be seperated on the pitch? There must be an "A" team in just about each age group.
There is an item on the agenda for Monday that if City have more than one team in a league they are called Carlisle City 'robinho', Carlisle City 'Given' and Carlisle City 'Tevez' after Man City players.
if thats the case, will get my players to wear a pair of false breasts........cos those players all all t..s...Although I wont need a false pair as They come included.
All Joking aside the Senior of the junior side is surely just Carlisle City, the Junior of the Junior sides in which ever league they are in are the A side and then anyone else who are in become the B side and so on. Next season the A side if they are young enough to stay in that league become Carlisle City and the side coming into the League are the A side. This should convince parents the logic of how sides are named. If this is too difficult for parents then just enter one side in each league.

I raised this subject with mark and brian on monday.Next year the under nines will have 3 teams as the "A" team have to many players so we are splitting them up . Most of the kids go to school with each other and it already seems to be an issue with the kids not the parents.I asked if we could be carlisle city blues or whites instead like most other teams in the league .Remember the kids are still only 8 and "b" does make it sound that they are worse than the "A".
For me we should be entering as many teams as we have players for as that is the main reason a Club like ours is here i.e. to provide an opportunity to as many people to play and enjoy football as possible.
Simon has raised a valid point and if the kids are concerned about playing in a team that has "A", "B" or "C" after it, then we should take this into account, it's surely not such a big deal for us to understand and resolve, Warwick Wanderers do.
One team in a league is easy = Carlisle City FC.
Two = Carlisle City (older) and Carlisle City A (younger) (as is now and is what Dougie is talking about).
Three = Carlisle City, Carlisle City blue and Carlisle City white.
It will be discussed at Monday's meeting, however, it makes no difference in my opinion what the teams want to call themselves as long as they are happy and enjoy their football.
No problem. Not asking for a restructure of Carlisle city just thought if there are 3 teams for 1 age group why not have Carlisle city,Carlisle city "A"and carlisle city blues or whites?Even if only to a certain age group.
will someone wake me up from my coma when this issue is resolved!! take a minute to reflect on the work the poor Club secretary is currently doing with regard to team names, members lists, insurance forms and info required by the FA!doh. surely i must make the shortlist for Charter Standard awards,as administrator of the year? vote for me!!!
You been watching the dark side too much Louis if you are in a coma mate!!!!
I watched them on weds with Waza and it's like watching paint dry. Me and JP are off to Eastlands on Sunday to say goodbye to Hughsey, having a few pints with Yogi and Burkey before hand, come along if you want.
Wilbo, make sure you take some proplus and a good book to read for 90 minutes. In fact better still, dont go....think of your eco footprint.
By the way, what's the difference between Newcastle United and Alan Shearer.....................................You will see Shearer on Match of the Day next season!!!!!!!!
