A fine result yesturday but conceding so late must have been hurtfull disbelief Good to see that the youth is getting a fair chance nowadays as in the past well respected Managers have choosen to avoid this route!

The change of Management was the best thing that you City Gents have done for a long time but more could be done with other positions?

Is it about time that a club of your stature should be looking in have your own ground or is this a step to far?

be lucky evileye

Thanks for the post.   The team's form under Steven Bellas has shown a marked improvement, with just one disastrous defeat at Murton in that time. I think that, before his appointment, there were genuine relegation fears in what is a very tight league this year.

On the ground issue, I'm sure that this is something that everyone would want in an ideal world. However, there are so many obstacles to overcome, when dealing with land issues, councils, finance and other problems. That is not to say that it will never happen.

At this level of football, very few teams sadly have their "own" ground.

I just want to support Brian in his comments and the anonymous poster for good feedback.

As Chairman, most people know that I have an ambition that our club with its 345 members deserves a "home ground" and work is being done to try to achieve this. There are many problems as Brian says but if the poster can make any suggestions, I would love to hear more.

I can assure everyone involved with CCFC (and anyone else who may be interested for that matter) that there are people at the Club working towards getting a facility or facilities to enable the Club to progress. There are a couple of irons in the fire (as most of the management committee will know), but these things take time and will not happen overnight.

As soon as something 'concrete' can be reported it will appear on this website.
