I know he's a decent player, but £14 million is hardly value for money. It's a lot of cash for probably ten goals a season, and at least two suspensions!

I can't say I am overly pleased with the Bellamy signing, £14m is plenty for him and you forgot the time he will miss through injuries Brian.

As for AK trying to constantly wind me up, all I will say is at least we had the bottle and the dosh to try to sign Kaka. Any idea who 'Scrooge' might be signing for Arsenal in the transfer window? I hear from Wazza that there is a really good lad playing for Carlisle City under 12's who they might be able to affordsmile

Its still better than spending over £100 million on one player which was madness,thank god Kaka saw sense and stopped where he was.

It also seems to me that January is crazy time for buying clubs, Spurs paying double for Defoe than what they sold him for only months earlier.
